Bob Gale, co-creator of the beloved Back to the Future trilogy, delivered a blunt message to fans yearning for a fourth installment: "F*** you."

In a recent interview with Yahoo, Gale, who collaborated with Robert Zemeckis on all three films, emphatically stated there are no plans for a continuation of the franchise within its established canon. Responding to persistent inquiries about a Back to the Future 4, Gale's backstage comment at the Saturn Awards was unequivocal.

While Hollywood frequently revisits established franchises, often with mixed results (consider the critical reception of The Matrix Resurrections and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny), Back to the Future will, ironically, remain firmly rooted in its past.

The original 1985 film, featuring Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly and Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown, achieved iconic status. However, its sequels, released in 1989 and 1990, received less enthusiastic reviews.

Despite a three-decade absence from the big screen, the Back to the Future legacy endures, influencing countless films and inspiring a Broadway musical. Gale revealed plans for a stage production destined for Royal Caribbean Cruises and hinted at collaborating with Fox on a book detailing his experiences with the franchise.
