Fortnite: All Oni Masks & How To Get Them

This guide details how to obtain Oni Masks in Fortnite Hunters, a season featuring Japanese mythology-inspired skins and powerful new items. Oni Masks grant unique abilities: the Void Oni Mask offers teleportation, while the Fire Oni Mask launches damaging fire projectiles.

All Oni Masks and Their Uses:

• Void Oni Mask: Throws a Void Tear (Shoot Button); teleport to its location (Aim Button while mask is equipped). Epic variant: 15 uses, 5-second cooldown. Mythic variant: 50 uses.

• Fire Oni Mask: Launches a guided flame projectile (Fire Button), dealing 100 damage. Can hit multiple nearby enemies. Epic variant: 8 uses, 8-second cooldown. Mythic variant: 16 uses.

How to Get Oni Masks:

• Elemental Chests: These chests guarantee an elemental item, including Oni Masks (both Void and Fire). Locations vary, but named POIs increase your chances.

• Defeating Demon Warriors: These enemies, marked by an Oni Mask icon on the map, sometimes drop either a Void or Fire Oni Mask (depending on which they wield). They may also drop Typhoon Blades and Boons.

• Regular Chests: Standard chests have a chance to drop Epic rarity Void and Fire Oni Masks, but this is the least reliable method.

• Purchasing from Daigo: At Masked Meadows, Daigo sells both Oni Masks for Gold Bars. Complete all stages of his Mask Expertise Quests to unlock this option.

• Daigo's Hidden Workshop: Located beneath the building on the north side of Masked Meadows, this workshop contains a machine that always drops both Void and Fire Oni Masks.

• Defeating Bosses (Mythic Oni Masks Only):

  • Mythic Void Oni Mask: Dropped by Night Rose at Demon's Dojo.
  • Mythic Fire Oni Mask: Dropped by Shogun X at Shogun's Arena. Mythic masks have more uses than their Epic counterparts.
