Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC Specs Announced
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC Specs Demand High-End Hardware for 4K
Square Enix has released updated PC specifications for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, highlighting the need for powerful hardware, especially for 4K resolution. Two weeks ahead of the PC launch, the updated requirements emphasize a high-end graphics card with 12-16GB VRAM as recommended for 4K gameplay.
The game leverages DLSS upscaling, Shader Model 6.6 support, and DirectX 12 Ultimate. This PC port arrives almost a year after the PS5 release, following a PS5 Pro enhancement patch. Unlike Final Fantasy VII Remake, however, Rebirth will not receive any DLC at launch; Square Enix is focused on Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3.
While initial PC spec details were shared previously, Square Enix clarified the graphics card requirements. A card with 12-16GB VRAM is now explicitly recommended for 4K monitors. Other minimum requirements include a 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 OS, 155GB of SSD storage, and 16GB of RAM. Recommended CPU options include the Ryzen 5 5600 or higher, while the GPU needs are an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 (or later models), with higher-end cards recommended for higher settings.
