Amazon Prime's Fallout season two begins filming in November, as confirmed by returning star Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson). Speaking to Screen Rant, Uggams revealed the November start date. This follows the show's successful premiere and subsequent renewal.
Season two is expected to further explore the Vault-Tec narrative and the season one cliffhanger, according to Screen Rant. While the full returning cast remains unconfirmed, Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are presumed to reprise their roles. Uggams teased some surprises for Betty Pearson, stating, "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," Uggams said. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."
A 2026 premiere is estimated, accounting for filming and post-production. However, an official release date is pending. For context, Fallout season one filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April 2024.

Show producer Graham Wagner revealed that season two will be "Vegas-bound," introducing Fallout: New Vegas antagonist Robert House. The extent of House's involvement remains unclear, though he was shown in a season one flashback meeting with other Vault-Tec leaders.
Wagner and showrunner Robertson-Dworet previously indicated that season two will delve deeper into untold stories and expand on season one's hints, particularly concerning Vault-Tec executives, the origins of the Great War, and character development through flashbacks.
