EV Attack Training: The Best Spots
Whether you're aiming for five- and six-star Tera Raid victories or conquering the ranked ladder in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, optimizing your Pokémon's stats is paramount. Simply leveling up through random encounters will leave you with suboptimal, even underwhelming, stats. Luckily, several locations offer efficient Attack EV farming. This guide highlights the best spots.

Pokémon Center Area – North Province (Area Two)

This area, a community favorite for EV training, is located on the region's northeastern border, near Team Star's Fighting Crew base. The wooded area is teeming with Pokémon yielding solely Attack EVs, including Lokix, Scyther, Bisharp, Heracross, Dratini, and Ursaring. Note that not all Pokémon provide purely Attack EVs; for instance, Falinks offers a mixed boost to Attack and Special Defense. Maximize damage output requires consistent and frequent battles.
Eastern Edge of Porto Marinada

For precise EV gain, the eastern outskirts of Porto Marinada excel. Paldean Tauros groups are readily available. Each defeated Tauros yields 2 EVs, boosted to 10 with a Power Bracer, enabling quick accumulation and precise EV adjustment by removing the Bracer afterward.
How to Use the Power Bracer for EV Training
Effective EV training requires preparation. The Power Bracer, equipping a Pokémon during training, grants an additional +8 Attack bonus per defeated wild Pokémon. This dramatically accelerates the process. A Pokémon yielding 1 EV normally gains 9 with the Bracer. Even if a Pokémon gives this bonus to a different stat, you still gain an extra 8 points. While faster methods exist, the Power Bracer is more economical than bulk vitamin purchases. Purchase it for 10,000 Pokédollars at Delibird Presents in Mesagoza, Levincia, and Cascarrafa.

Best Pokémon for EV Attack Training

Pokémon outbreaks provide extra EV gains, though inconsistently. The following Pokémon are ideal for efficient training.
Flamigo

Flamigo, common near lakes and swamps, appear at various levels, suitable even for low-level teams. Find them in southeastern South Province lakes near Grasswither Shrine or, for higher-level challenges, at Casseroya Watchtower No. 1 (south of Casseroya Lake), especially during "Encounter Power: Fighting" bonuses. Note that Casseroya Lake Flamigo are around level 50. Avoid level 9-20 Pokémon with the "Detect" ability.
Paldean Tauros

Found in central-western and central-eastern regions, Paldean Tauros usually appear in groups of five, especially with Fighting-type encounter bonuses. South of Levincia offers optimal hunting grounds. Some possess the "Intimidate" ability, slightly slowing battles.
EV Attack Training Recommendations

Flamigo and Paldean Tauros are excellent choices. Their frequent group appearances and base 2 Attack EVs (10 with a Power Bracer) mean only 26 battles are needed to reach the 252 EV cap. Remember, regular Tauros only yield 1 EV; avoid them for Attack training. The "Tropical Sandwich" (Every Wich Way) grants "Encounter Power: Fighting Lv. 1," boosting Fighting-type encounter rates.

Kelpsy Berries, while reducing EVs, are useful for fine-tuning if you overshoot your target.

Efficient EV training requires patience and attention. Utilize North Province Area Two for rapid gains, use the Power Bracer, and target Flamigo or Paldean Tauros during outbreaks. Avoid auto-battles and Pokémon with hindering abilities for maximum efficiency.
