EOS's Era Begins: Revue Starlight Re LIVE Ends Stage Girl Enrollment

Revue Starlight Re LIVE is officially shutting down. The mobile game, based on the anime series, will cease operations on September 30th, 2024, at 07:00 UTC, ending nearly six years of service.
Reasons for the Shutdown:
Revue Starlight Re LIVE, a direct continuation of the anime, offered a strategic battle system featuring unique character skills. However, declining performance over the past five and a half years ultimately led to this decision. Factors contributing to the game's struggles include repetitive events, reused assets, and expensive battle passes. Storyline inconsistencies, such as the abrupt character shift from The Giraffe, also negatively impacted the game's reception. The closure affects the game globally, including Japan.
Positive Aspects:
Despite its closure, the game boasted a strong soundtrack featuring music from the anime, and impressive 3D graphics and Live2D animations.
Final Opportunities:
Although the servers are closing soon, players still have a few weeks to enjoy the game. Developers are launching several farewell events in August and September, including a "Thank You For Everything" campaign offering 10 free daily pulls and a two-month birthday celebration with "New Stage Girl Gacha" events at the start of each month. Download the game from the Google Play Store to participate in these final events.
