However, declining performance over the past five and a half years ultimately led to this decision. Factors contributing to the game's struggles include repetitive events, reused assets, and expensive battle passes. Storyline inconsistencies, such as the abrupt character shift from The Giraffe, also negatively impacted the game's reception. The closure affects the game globally, including Japan.

Despite its closure, the game boasted a strong soundtrack featuring music from the anime, and impressive 3D graphics and Live2D animations.
