Devil's Purge Goes Free-to-Play, Expands Soundtrack

During my trip to Portugal last year, I had the exciting opportunity to try out an upcoming release that caught my attention: Devil's Purge. Developed by Ontop, this augmented reality (AR) shooter immerses players in a battle against demons and the devil himself, all set to a thrilling heavy metal soundtrack.

If you've been hesitant to dive into Devil's Purge, now is the perfect time to get involved. The game is not only expanding its already electrifying soundtrack but is also transitioning to a free-to-play model! Inspired by its spiritual predecessor Doom, Devil's Purge adopts a shareware approach. You can now experience some of the initial levels for free and, if you're hooked, opt to pay to unlock the full game.

In Devil's Purge, you won't just stand and shoot; you'll need to actively move to dodge enemies and uncover their weak spots. This dynamic gameplay sets it apart from other AR games, like Pokemon Go, especially with its demonic theme.

Blast 'em!The latest update brings more than just new levels; it introduces a host of new tracks to the game's brutal soundtrack. Featuring music from independent metal artists such as Avesso, Visceral, Zero Massive, Tales for the Unspoken, and many others, the game's audio experience is set to be even more intense. With over 60 levels and a new combat system that allows you to customize your equipment from the start using resources from previous sessions, there's no better time to jump in and challenge the forces of Hell!

The shift to free-to-play starts today, and you can find Devil's Purge on the iOS App Store!
