The latest Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation PRISM trailer features romance and tropical setting
Koei Tecmo unveils a new trailer for Dead or Alive Xtreme: Venus Vacation PRISM, a romance game spin-off of their popular fighting game franchise. Launching March 27th on PS5, PS4, and PC, the game features a "global version" with English text for Asian markets.
Players can engage in mini-games, customize character appearances, and soak up the tropical island setting. Developers highlight numerous ways to build relationships with the heroines and become fully immersed in the romantic narrative.
Venus Vacation PRISM promises a unique experience for Dead or Alive fans, offering a departure from the series' core gameplay while preserving its distinctive style.
However, even this venture has its boundaries. Despite the seemingly paradoxical approach, Koei Tecmo annually removes approximately 200-300 doujinshi and 2,000-3,000 images of Dead or Alive characters. The Dead or Alive series, known for its gameplay and attractive female characters often depicted in swimwear, attracts significant fan-made "adult" content. While appreciating fan art, the developers actively combat the creation and distribution of unauthorized explicit material.
