Dark & Darker Mobile to Soft Launch in Canada Next Month, Full Release in First Half of Year
Krafton's eagerly awaited mobile adaptation of Ironmace's hit extraction dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, is gearing up for its soft launch in Canada on February 5th. Fans worldwide won't have to wait long either, as the game is set for a global launch in the first half of this year. Pre-registration remains open, and players can look forward to new features and alterations as the release date approaches.
For those new to the game, Dark and Darker combines the thrill of an extraction shooter with the classic elements of a dungeon crawler. Players can embark on this adventure either solo or with a party, taking on the roles of various D&D-inspired characters such as fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards. The objective? Navigate a vast dungeon, battle monsters, and outsmart other loot-seeking adventurers.
Ironmace's original PC version caused a significant stir upon its release, prompting Krafton to swiftly secure the rights for a mobile adaptation. With the global launch on the horizon, Krafton is continuously enhancing the game. Notable updates include changes to the Darkswarm system and the escape mechanics, which are crucial for exiting the dungeon. Additionally, there will be structural overhauls to better support party play. Class differentiation is also set to be improved with new basic attacks and combat mechanics, alongside a broader range of weapons and skills.
Dark and Darker Mobile is still open for pre-registration on the official website.
