How To Complete Storm in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Mastering stealth is key to tackling many quests in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, but some, like "Storm," demand it. This quest concludes the main Trosky region storyline and introduces the Kuttenberg region. You'll find yourself severely disadvantaged at the start, lacking armor, weapons, and even essential items like Saviour Schnapps, while suffering from reduced health and stamina after torture.

Fortunately, you can recover some basic gear from the guards Katherine dispatched while freeing you. It's not ideal, but it's better than nothing, especially since Katherine provides her dagger, enabling stealth kills. Your first objective: the top of the Crone in Trosky. While guards patrol the route, they're spaced sufficiently to allow for stealth takedowns or clever distractions and avoidance.

Atop the Crone, you confront Istvan Toth. This encounter doesn't affect the best ending, so feel free to choose the dishonorable option if direct combat feels too risky given your weakened state. Fighting Toth directly is highly dangerous. After dealing with Toth, search the room for everyone's belongings and secure crucial documents.

After retrieving your belongings, return to the dungeon to reunite with the others. They'll equip themselves and reveal the escape tunnels, making this part of the quest remarkably straightforward. Simply follow them.

The truly challenging part of "Storm" begins next: navigating the hills undetected. Maintaining extremely low conspicuousness is vital; getting spotted triggers an alert, often leading to multiple enemy encounters. Your weakened stats further complicate matters, making stealth kills and knockouts more difficult.

Take the uphill path to the right, leading to a larger, heavily patrolled path. This path, however, takes you to Mika's capture point. Stealthily eliminate the guard, free Mika, and receive directions to your next objective.

The final leg requires extensive stealth. Follow Mika's instructions to the locations marked on your map and proceed to the region's edge. Head east and southeast to reach the main road in Apollonia, then south, staying concealed within the bushes. The marked area is larger than it seems; reaching about halfway triggers the ending cutscene. Use stones to distract guards as needed. This cutscene concludes your role in this area, leading you to the Kuttenberg region.

"Storm" uniquely necessitates stealth rather than offering it as an option. Prioritizing stealth skill upgrades before this quest is highly recommended for a smoother experience.
