Clash of Clans axes Troop Training times in revamp

While Clash of Clans remains a legend in mobile gaming, its aging mechanics have been apparent. Thankfully, Supercell continues modernizing the game, with the most significant update yet: the removal of troop, spell, and siege machine training times.

The community reaction will surely be explosive! Following Supercell's 2022 decision to scrap training costs, eliminating wait times represents another major quality-of-life improvement.

Starting immediately, Training Potions and Treats are being phased out from purchases and rewards. While temporarily available through the Trader and Gold Pass, these items will convert to Gems by month's end.

Complementing this change, Supercell introduces Match Anytime - letting you practice against AI-controlled bases when live opponents aren't available. While offering full rewards, these simulated battles won't penalize defenders. Already featured in Clan Wars and Legend League, this system is becoming universal.
