Season 2 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces Camo Challenge Tracking, a significant quality-of-life improvement for players striving for Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter camos. This feature simplifies the often-daunting camo unlock process.

The update notes describe Camo Challenge Tracking as a system allowing players to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges simultaneously. A particularly helpful addition is the "Near Completion" notification, alerting players to challenges nearing completion, even if not actively tracked.

Managing Your Camo Challenges

To track a camo or calling card challenge, navigate to the desired challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation) to add it to your tracker. Progress can then be conveniently monitored during gameplay, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu.

The game intelligently auto-populates the tracker with challenges closest to completion, even if not manually selected. A comprehensive list of "near complete" camos and calling cards is also accessible in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby.

Simplified Camo Unlocking

Season 2 also simplifies camo unlocking. Previously, unlocking special camos required completing nine preceding military camos. This requirement has been reduced to five, making the grind significantly less arduous. However, two special camos are still needed to unlock mastery camos.
