Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta Date Revealed

Get ready, Call of Duty fans! The official Call of Duty podcast has confirmed the beta testing dates for Black Ops 6. This two-part beta offers early access and open access periods.

Beta Testing Breakdown:

• Early Access (August 30th - September 4th): Available to those who pre-ordered Black Ops 6 or have active subscriptions to select Game Pass plans.
• Open Beta (September 6th - 9th): Free for everyone!

Mark your calendars! Black Ops 6 launches October 25th, 2024, on PC (Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

New Game Mechanics and Features:

Treyarch's Associate Director of Design, Matt Scronce, revealed exciting details on the podcast. Black Ops 6 boasts:

• 16 Multiplayer Maps: 12 standard 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps playable in 6v6 or 2v2 modes.
• Zombies Mode Returns: Featuring two brand-new maps.
• Omnimovement: A fresh new mechanic.
• Traditional Scorestreak System: Scores reset upon player elimination.
• Dedicated Melee Weapon Slot: Carry a melee weapon without sacrificing a secondary weapon.
