We Reviewed Both AMD Graphics Cards

We gave the AMD Radeon RX 9070 a solid 8/10 rating. Priced the same as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, it outperforms in most games and comes with more VRAM (16GB vs 12GB), which should make it more future-proof. In our tests, it consumed about the same power as the RTX 5070.

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT received a perfect 10/10 from us. Despite being $150 cheaper than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, it surpasses it in several games, with some benchmarks showing a significant performance gap. Like the RX 9070, it also boasts 16GB of VRAM. However, it does consume more power and runs hotter on average compared to the RTX 5070 Ti.
