Bendy: Lone Wolf Takes Ink Machine Mobile in 2025

Bendy and the Ink Machine is making a mobile comeback with Bendy: Lone Wolf, a new title arriving on iOS, Android, Switch, and Steam in 2025. Building upon the gameplay established in Boris and the Dark Survival, Lone Wolf adopts a top-down, isometric perspective.

Remember the quirky survival horror that swept the mid-2010s? The episodic structure, unique rubber hose-style enemies and environments, and captivating storyline made Bendy and the Ink Machine a massive hit. Now, the franchise is returning to mobile with Lone Wolf.

The reveal trailer (see below) showcases gameplay featuring Boris the Wolf navigating the perilous Joey Drew Studios. The original Bendy and the Ink Machine, along with spin-offs Nightmare Run and Boris and the Dark Survival, are already available on mobile. Lone Wolf appears to borrow heavily from Dark Survival, though its exact relationship to the latter remains unclear – a refined version or a completely new experience?

Regardless, the Bendy franchise retains significant popularity, recognized as a pioneer in the mascot horror genre alongside the iconic Five Nights at Freddy's. Lone Wolf's success will likely hinge on its execution. While not the first isometric survival horror entry featuring Boris, its multi-platform release (including Steam and Switch) suggests lessons learned from previous mobile iterations will result in a more refined and potentially terrifying experience.
