Atomfall Previews Immersive Gameplay for March Launch

Atomfall: New Gameplay Trailer Unveils Post-Apocalyptic England

Rebellion Developments' upcoming first-person survival game, Atomfall, plunges players into a chilling alternate 1960s England, devastated by nuclear catastrophe. A recent seven-minute gameplay trailer offers a deeper look at the game's world and mechanics.

Fans of Fallout and STALKER will find familiar elements in Atomfall's post-nuclear landscape. The trailer showcases exploration of quarantine zones, desolate villages, and abandoned research bunkers. Survival hinges on resource scavenging amidst hazardous environments and encounters with hostile robots and cultists.

The gameplay footage highlights a blend of melee and ranged combat. While initially featuring basic weaponry (a cricket bat, revolver, shotgun, and bolt-action rifle), the trailer emphasizes weapon upgrades and the potential for a wider arsenal. Crafting plays a vital role, allowing players to create healing items and combat tools such as Molotov cocktails and sticky bombs. A metal detector aids in locating hidden supplies and crafting materials.

Character progression is facilitated through training manuals and unlockable skills categorized into melee, ranged combat, survival, and conditioning. This skill system allows for player specialization and strategic adaptability.

Launching March 27th on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC, Atomfall will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. Rebellion plans to release another in-depth video soon, promising further insights into this intriguing survival title.
