Ezio Auditore: Ubisoft Japan's Favorite Character
Ubisoft Japan's 30th-anniversary celebration culminated in the announcement of their Character Awards, with Assassin's Creed's Ezio Auditore da Firenze securing the top spot! This online poll, running from November 1st, 2024, allowed fans to vote for their three favorite characters across Ubisoft's extensive game library.
The results, revealed on Ubisoft Japan's website and X (formerly Twitter), showcase Ezio's enduring popularity. To celebrate his victory, a dedicated page featuring Ezio in a new artistic style has been launched. Fans can also download four free digital wallpapers (PC and mobile) featuring the iconic assassin. Furthermore, a lottery will award 30 lucky participants with an Ezio acrylic stand set, and 10 will receive a massive 180cm Ezio body pillow.
Beyond Ezio's triumph, the top ten characters were revealed, highlighting a diverse range of Ubisoft titles:
- Ezio Auditore da Firenze (Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Liberation)
- Aiden Pearce (Watch Dogs)
- Edward James Kenway (Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag)
- Bayek (Assassin's Creed Origins)
- Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad (Assassin's Creed)
- Wrench (Watch Dogs)
- Pagan Min (Far Cry)
- Eivor Varinsdottir (Assassin's Creed Valhalla)
- Kassandra (Assassin's Creed Odyssey)
- Aaron Keener (The Division 2)
In a parallel poll, the Assassin's Creed franchise also claimed the top spot for most popular game series, surpassing Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs. The Division and Far Cry followed in fourth and fifth place respectively.
