How to Get & Use Armor Spheres in Monster Hunter Wilds
Upgrading your armor is crucial for survival in Monster Hunter Wilds, but simply crafting new sets isn't always the most efficient strategy. Upgrading existing armor lets you keep pace with escalating challenges. Here's how to obtain and utilize Armor Spheres.
Obtaining Armor Spheres in Monster Hunter Wilds
Armor Spheres are primarily awarded as quest rewards in Monster Hunter Wilds. You'll earn them by completing both main and optional quests.
You'll begin receiving Armor Spheres after defeating Uth Duna for the first time in the main storyline. Subsequently, most main and optional quests from that point forward will offer them as rewards.
To see potential rewards, select a quest from your journal and press R1. Your rewards will be displayed after a successful hunt.
Farming Armor Spheres is relatively straightforward. While progressing through the main story naturally yields a decent supply, diligently completing optional quests significantly boosts your collection.
Using Armor Spheres
Armor Spheres are essential for armor upgrades. At base camp, speak with Gemma the smithy, selecting either "Forge" or "Upgrade." Choose a crafted piece of gear and press R1 to access the Upgrade tab.
Select the item you wish to upgrade. You'll need Armor Spheres and Zenny. Note that upgrade costs increase with each level.
