Android's Free-to-Play Castle Doombad Released Today
Castle Doombad triumphantly returns! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, is back with a vengeance.
Grumpyface, renowned for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light, Unleash the Light, and Teeny Titans, initially planned a simple remake. However, they wisely divided the project: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic (a remastered version with updated content) for PC and Nintendo Switch (coming later this year). A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.
Unleash Your Inner Evil in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay!
Embrace your villainous side! Build a wicked lair, thwart righteous heroes, and utilize traps and minions as your ultimate weapons. This isn't your typical tower defense game.

The free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features the complete original game with 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Unlock and upgrade over 30 traps, and collect more than 100 items.
A new cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you customize your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts and loot, combined with equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks.
A challenging new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares that grant unique villainous powers. Download it now from the Google Play Store!
