Where To Find All 3 Minecraft Chicken Variants
Minecraft's Java Snapshot 25w06a introduces exciting new chicken variants, sparking anticipation among players. This guide details how to locate and breed these feathered friends.
Locating Minecraft Chicken Variants
Warm Chickens: These yellow and orange-feathered birds inhabit warmer biomes. Look for them in: Badlands, Bamboo Jungle, Eroded Badlands, Jungle, Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Sparse Jungle, Windswept Savanna, and Wooded Badlands.
Cold Chickens: Sporting blue feathers, these chickens reside in colder climates. Search these biomes: Old Growth Pine Taiga, Old Growth Spruce Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Taiga, Windswept Forest, Windswept Gravelly Hills, and Windswept Hills.
Temperate Chickens: The familiar, classic white chickens, now called Temperate Chickens, are found in all biomes not listed above.
Taming Chickens in Minecraft
To collect your chicken flock, remember that chickens aren't tamed traditionally. Instead, feed them seeds to encourage them to follow you. Guide them to a secure enclosure. Be mindful of travel time, especially in Survival mode, and consider establishing checkpoints for your feathered companions.
Breeding Chicken Variants in Minecraft
Breeding is straightforward. Feed two chickens of the same variant seeds to produce an egg that will hatch a chicken of that same type. For a surprise, feed seeds to two chickens of different variants; the resulting egg will hatch a random variant.
