The model appears semi-transparently over your drawing, helping you trace the outlines—similar to the camera lucida technique used for centuries (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida).

For best results, mount your phone on a stable stand so it remains fixed, keeping both hands free.
