Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Confirmed for January 28th

Originally slated for a December 17th launch, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game, Botany Manor, have been given a new release date: January 28th. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, allowed for additional polish to ensure the best possible player experience.

Botany Manor, developed by Balloon Studios, charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game's unique blend of relaxing gameplay, magical plant cultivation, and charming English countryside setting earned widespread praise, solidifying its reputation as a top-tier puzzler of 2024.

While a December release was initially planned, a last-minute postponement pushed the PlayStation port into 2025. However, Whitethorn Games kept its promise of a timely update, confirming the January 28th launch date on January 9th. Despite the confirmed date, a PS Store page remains absent, meaning pre-orders aren't yet available.

The PlayStation version is expected to maintain the $24.99 price point of other platforms, offering a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be offered on PlayStation.

Expanding PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup

Botany Manor's strong reception (an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic) positions it perfectly to enhance the PlayStation's growing collection of high-quality puzzle games. Its launch on January 28th will mark the game's arrival on all initially targeted platforms.

While Balloon Studios hasn't revealed its next project, January 28th also sees the PlayStation Store welcoming other notable titles, including the roguelite Cuisineer, action RPG Eternal Strands, and tactical stealth game The Son of Madness.
