• Developer Bad Guitar Studio confirms FragPunk's PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S launch on April 29. The free-to-play 5v5 hero shooter originally debuted on PC via Steam on March 6. While initially planned for simultaneous platform releases, console versions required additional optimization work. The upcoming release will feature full cross-play functionality between all platforms.

March 18

• FragPunk deployed a seamless update on March 18 featuring gameplay refinements. Notable improvements include enhanced movement mechanics and improved footstep audio feedback. The patch also balances weapon performance and Lancer abilities, removes the "Hide your name" feature to strengthen anti-cheat measures, and fixes various gameplay and interface issues.

• Bad Guitar Studio has postponed FragPunk's console release because of technical optimization challenges discovered during platform compliance testing. The development team aims to deliver a polished experience across all platforms before launch.

As compensation, console players will receive bonus content post-launch including premium currency, exclusive cosmetics, and experience boosters. The studio will share additional details in upcoming announcements.
