Certain sets, like the Elite Trainer Boxes, will drop on May 9 via the Best Buy app.

Following the dual-release style of the mainline Pokémon games and the dual-sequel approach of Black and White 2, this set is shaping up to be a major hit.

As with past releases, Black Bolt and White Flare are expected to sell out rapidly. Here’s everything confirmed so far for this epic release.

Available July 18, 2025:

A new card style, called Black White rare, will debut. These cards feature full artwork in monochrome black or white, depending on the expansion.

Players can also access Scarlet & Violet: Black Bolt and White Flare digitally starting July 17, 2025, via the Pokémon TCG Live app on iOS, Android, macOS, and Windows. The digital release lets you collect and battle with new Unova-region cards and earn in-game login bonuses.
