Jetragon, a formidable dragon, reigns supreme as the game's best all-around Pal and arguably the top mount. Its devastating Fire Ball and Beam Comet abilities make it invaluable in combat. Located at the Beach of Everlasting Summer (Level 60), acquiring Jetragon requires preparation: bring Ice-element Pals and ensure Level 2 Heat Resistance.

Bellanoir Libero, a Dark-element Pal, is a powerful combatant, though not rideable. Its unique Siren of the Void passive ability enhances its Dark and Ice attacks, proving highly effective against many dragon Pals. However, unlike Jetragon, it's summoned via the Summoning Altar.

Paladius and Necromus, twin boss Pals, are the fastest ground mounts. Paladius (Neutral element) excels against dragons, while Necromus (Dark element) is effective against other enemies. Both inflict significant damage but are less useful for base operations.

Anubis, obtainable relatively early, is a top-tier worker and fighter (though not rideable). Bred from Penking and Bushi, or defeated as a world boss, it boasts exceptional attack power and a Handiwork Level of 4, making it a base asset.

Shadowbeak, found only on the small northeastern island (No. 3 Wildlife Sanctuary), accessible via flying or swimming mounts, is potentially the strongest Dark-element Pal due to its Modified DNA. While rideable, its combat capabilities are its primary strength.

Jormuntide Ignis (No. 2 Wildlife Sanctuary, northwestern map) is a formidable combat Pal. Its Stormbringer Lava Dragon passive ability boosts both rider and Pal, combined with powerful Fire, Electric, and Dragon-type moves. Best suited for combat, it also possesses Level 4 Kindling for cooking or ore refining.

Frostailon, an Ice-type Pal, is a strong combatant, mount, and base asset (Level 50, eastern Land of Absolute Zero). Defeating its world boss form requires Fire Pals (Jormuntide Ignis recommended) and Level 3 Cold Resistance.

Lyleen Noct (cave in the Land of Absolute Zero) is a Dark-element healer with the Goddess of the Tranquil Light passive ability for HP restoration. Its Ice and Dark moves are effective against various bosses, and it’s best assigned to medicine production.

Blazamut Ryu, a Raid Boss summoned via the Summoning Altar (requiring four Blazamut Ryu Slab Fragments from challenging Sakurajima Island Dungeons), is a late-game acquisition. While rideable, it excels in combat and base operations (ore mining and refining due to Level 4 Kindling and Mining).

These represent the most desirable Pals in Palworld. Most are late-game encounters, so prioritizing acquisition isn't necessary early on.
