Capcom has officially announced that Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 will launch on Thursday, April 3 in Pacific Time, and April 4 in the UK. This major post-launch update introduces a wealth of new content, features, and enhancements designed to expand the gameplay experience for all hunters.

In a recently released showcase video, Capcom detailed the key additions arriving with Title Update 1. The centerpiece is the Grand Hub, a vibrant new social space where players can gather, interact, and engage in fresh activities. Within the Grand Hub, hunters can enjoy a fun new mini-game called Barrel Bowling and experience nightly performances by the Diva, adding a lively atmosphere to downtime between hunts.

The update also marks the arrival of Mizutsune, a fan-favorite leviathan monster known for its deadly bubble attacks. Alongside Mizutsune, players will gain access to a new Zoh Shia quest. Later on, an event quest will introduce the powerful Arch-tempered Rey Dau, offering seasoned hunters an intense challenge.

New competitive gameplay arrives in the form of Arena Quests, where players can test their skills and race for the fastest completion times on the leaderboard. In addition to these new features, all players will receive free content, including classic gestures from the Monster Hunter series. Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 will also launch concurrently with the update, allowing players to customize their hunter’s appearance.

Looking ahead, a collaboration with an unannounced Capcom title is set to arrive in Monster Hunter Wilds at the end of May. A second title update is scheduled for release this summer, with Capcom offering a sneak peek at a new monster making its debut—further expanding the game’s diverse ecosystem.

While the showcase focused heavily on content and gameplay, PC players hoping for news on performance improvements were left waiting. The PC version of Monster Hunter Wilds has faced criticism since launch due to technical issues, but no fixes or optimizations were addressed during the presentation.
