Clash Royale players finally witness the long-anticipated evolution of the Inferno Dragon after nine years of waiting. This legendary card receives a substantial power boost in its evolved form, marking a significant milestone in the game's history. To commemorate the occasion, Supercell teamed up with Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola for an entertaining reveal.
A Fiery Negotiation Takes Center Stage
After nearly a decade in the game, the Inferno Dragon stars in an amusing new Clash Royale trailer. Comedian Ismo Leikola portrays the dragon's unconventional Hollywood agent, fiercely negotiating for fame and fortune.
The lighthearted clip showcases the Inferno Dragon abandoning its battlefield duties in pursuit of Tinseltown stardom.
Viewers can enjoy the humorous negotiation scenes at Supercell's Clash Royale headquarters.
The evolution upgrade fundamentally changes the Inferno Dragon's combat effectiveness. Unlike its original version that reset damage when switching targets, the evolved form maintains its accumulating damage output for sustained impact.
New Season Ignites with Inferno Dragon Evolution
The "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season introduces both the Inferno Dragon evolution and the returning 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the competitive ladder.
Starting from Arena 7, Milestone Events offer valuable rewards including 3 Lumberjack Evolution Shards, an Epic Book of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.
The first Crown Chase event delivers a Battle Banner with frame and decoration plus an Epic Book of Cards. The second Crown Chase follows with another Battle Banner and 3 Evolution Shards.
Throughout June and early July, special game modes will showcase the new evolution cards:
- Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft (June 2-9)
- Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) with Battle Banner and Emote rewards
- Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allowing 4 evolution cards per deck
- Magical Trio (June 16-23)
- 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30)
- Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) permitting 8 evolution cards per deck
