GOG Resurrects Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 on PC

Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, the cult classic PlayStation survival horror games, have roared back to life with PC re-releases on GOG. These DRM-free versions, part of GOG's Preservation Program, offer the complete original experience.

Originally released by Capcom in 1999 and 2000 respectively, these titles hold a special place in gaming history. While Dino Crisis 3 followed in 2003 as an Xbox exclusive, a new entry in the series remains elusive. Despite fan demand for a new game or HD remake, and despite the release of Capcom's dinosaur-themed Exoprimal, and comments from creator Shinji Mikami, Capcom's focus seemingly lies elsewhere.

These PC ports, previously difficult to run on modern systems, are now readily accessible thanks to GOG's efforts. GOG highlights the preservation of Regina's iconic line, "You're extinct!", ensuring the games' longevity. The re-releases boast numerous improvements for modern systems while retaining all original content.
