Exoloper launches next week, bringing heavy metal action to mobile
Exoloper, the mech combat simulator from the creators of Interloper, launches February 10th. Engage in intense mech battles to liberate your homeworld from the oppressive Commonwealth. A free campaign allows you to sample the gameplay before purchasing the premium content.
Mobile gaming often lacks robust mech action, a genre Mechwarrior holds dear. Surprisingly, single-player mech simulators have been scarce, until now. Exoloper, previously featured last October, plunges you directly into the cockpit of your mech. This isn't a top-down strategy game; it's a first-person, visceral mech-on-mech showdown. If you yearn for a Mechwarrior experience on mobile, Exoloper might be your answer.
Significantly, Exoloper originates from Anchorite Games, the developers behind the acclaimed space combat simulator, Interloper. Launching February 10th, Exoloper promises to meet the high standards set by its predecessor.
A New Contender in a Niche Genre
Mech combat games occupy a specialized niche. While Mechwarrior thrived in the late 90s and early 2000s, subsequent titles like Mechwarrior 5 (despite some controversy) remain noteworthy. Therefore, an iOS spiritual successor is a welcome surprise. While Exoloper might not match the simulation depth of Mechwarrior, it still delivers impressive immersion.
