Cassette Beasts Launches on Android: Transform into Monsters!
After numerous delays, the wait is finally over for Android users as Cassette Beasts has now been globally released. Developed by Bytten Studio and published by Raw Fury, this game hit mobile platforms two years after its initial PC launch.
Let me give you a brief introduction to the game. You might be familiar with cassettes, those relics your parents used for listening to music. If not, a quick Google search should enlighten you.
Play Cassette Beasts on Your Player
In Cassette Beasts, you find yourself stranded on the enigmatic island of New Wirral, a place where everything feels out of time and place. Here, monsters roam freely, and people transform into creatures to battle these beasts, all powered by cassette tapes.
Your mission is to survive and find a way back home. To achieve this, you'll use your cassette player to record monsters. Once recorded, you can play these tapes to transform into the monsters themselves.
Build meaningful relationships with the residents of Harbourtown, and you'll have the opportunity to fuse your monster forms with your partner, creating astonishing hybrid creatures. With any two monsters able to fuse, the possibilities are virtually limitless.
There’s a Whole World to Explore
New Wirral is teeming with dungeons, puzzles, and secret locations that you can access only with the right monster abilities. Glide over cliffs, swim through mysterious waters, scale seemingly impossible walls, and perhaps even harness magnetic powers.
The game features a turn-based combat system with an intriguing elemental chemistry dynamic. By combining the right types, you can disrupt your enemies, enhance your team's abilities, or even alter an opponent's elemental type during battle.
Cassette Beasts supports Bluetooth controllers, although you might encounter minor issues. The game is free to play, so if you're interested, you can download it from the Google Play Store.
