Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Reveals New Zombies Features Coming in Season 2
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 introduces significant improvements to the Zombies mode, addressing long-standing player requests. Key updates include:
-
Co-op Pause: Party leaders can now pause the game for strategic discussions or breaks during high-round Zombie matches.
-
AFK Kick Loadout Recovery: Players kicked for inactivity can rejoin with their original loadouts, mitigating the loss of progress.
-
Separate HUD Presets: Customize HUD settings independently for Multiplayer and Zombies, eliminating the need to switch settings between modes.
-
Enhanced Challenge Tracking: Manually track up to 10 Calling Card and 10 Camo Challenges per mode. The system also highlights near-completion challenges.
Beyond these core features, Season 2 expands on the Zombies experience with the new Tomb map and other unannounced additions. The improved challenge tracking system streamlines progression, making it easier to manage multiple objectives in both Multiplayer and Zombies. The ability to save loadouts after an AFK kick is a welcome addition, reducing frustration for players. The separate HUD presets enhance user experience by allowing for mode-specific customization. These enhancements demonstrate Treyarch's commitment to refining and expanding the popular Zombies mode. Season 2 launches January 28, 2025.
