The zombies on these bleak islands are incredibly fierce. Thankfully, there's a shelter where I can take refuge. Look—I’ve crafted some awesome weapons. Now, nightmares turn into nighttime safaris as we survive the zombie world! :) Rick grinned, swinging a massive nail-studded bat at a fallen zombie. Enduring life on an island swarming with undead hordes isn’t for the faint of heart. Fighting the walking dead has helped Rick keep his sanity and remember the vital mission that brought him here.

Honestly, when I arrived, I thought it was the zombie apocalypse! Mutants, the living dead, and rival factions battling one another. We scattered across the island as soon as we landed. There was no time to prepare—right from the start, we were attacked by the walking dead, though "walkers" isn’t quite right—they sprinted faster than Olympians. I knew this was a one-way trip, so I focused on finding cover rather than completing some strange task. And I was right—a day after landing, all contact with our squad was lost. I doubt anyone from my group made it! Rick turned off the recorder, looked down at the crocodile, and continued—Finally, I can make my own crocodile shoes :).

I thought today was my last day alive! A whole swarm of zombies burst through the open steel door of the bunker I was looting. I hid behind machinery, then dashed outside and locked them all in. I’d shut off the air conditioning earlier—ha ha. I was stunned when the zombies started suffocating and even heard them screaming inside. And I was even more shocked to realize, after checking the bodies, that it was my own squad!!!! This island is messing with my mind, but I haven’t seen this much loot in ages :) Muttering to himself, Rick grinned as he pulled a wagon loaded with ammo, armor, and valuable supplies.

Who knows how much time has passed? This RPG has become a part of my life. There must be a boss out there—I need to find and destroy it!

Dead Island is an apocalyptic world where everyone loses their sanity in their own way. In this role-playing game, you’ll build and upgrade your shelter, craft gear, and gather resources!

In co-op mode, players can team up for quests and boss raids. We also plan to introduce a PvP Arena where players can prove who's the best! If co-op and PvP are popular, we may even add an MMO mode in the future.

Surviving on the island is challenging. You must build a secure shelter. Zombie hordes will attack, trying to break down your walls. Other players may raid your base. But you’ll have the chance to get revenge on those who rob you.

Gather resources to craft new weapons and armor. Explore military bunkers filled with loot—and traps.

You’ll face bosses that can only be defeated using special methods described in quests and notes scattered throughout the islands.
