In the year 2XXX, Earth is ravaged by a mysterious virus, causing a bizarre illness scientists have dubbed the "zombie" plague. This virus triggers horrifying mutations in humans, turning them into zombies with warped physiology and no consciousness. The infected are drawn to noise and the scent of human blood.

You play as a survivor in this post-apocalyptic nightmare. To protect your cherished home and fellow survivors, you must build a fortified base with multiple layers of defense. Strategic use of defensive towers is key to strengthening your stronghold and ensuring its safety.

At the start of each level, you'll see the play area—an 8x8 grid—and the predetermined path monsters will take. Your task is to use puzzle-piece-shaped wall fragments to design a new route that forces monsters to pass through your defensive towers, leading to their defeat. Your ultimate goal is to safeguard your home from the onslaught.

The home is placed at a fixed location in each level. You can position the puzzle pieces anywhere on the grid, but you must leave at least one space open in every row.

Each level consists of 6 waves of monsters. Initially, you choose one of two tower cards. Once selected, this card appears alongside your puzzle pieces. You must place it on the grid before commencing the level. After each wave, you can select additional cards, which may be one of two new tower types or a stat-boosting card. Stat cards enhance all your defensive towers, while new towers are added to your available arsenal.
