El roadmap de desarrollo de Stalker 2 incluye actualización a Unreal Engine y lanzamiento para PS5 y PS5 Pro

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl's roadmap for the second half of this year is now live, featuring updates to both the base game and the Zone Kit Modifications Tool, alongside plans for its previously confirmed launch on PS5 and PS5 Pro.

"Our primary goal in the near future is upgrading the game to Unreal Engine 5.5.4," GSC Game World explained. "This update will introduce new features and tools to enhance the Zone experience. More importantly, leveraging the latest optimizations from Unreal Engine 5 will significantly improve stability and performance."

However, GSC acknowledges that this transition may "disrupt the schedule of other updates," adding: "We’re taking this risk — just as true stalkers would — and are committed to achieving our 2025 objectives."

Although multiplayer remains unmentioned — much to some players' disappointment — here is what awaits later this year:
